Handle amazing. I'm a travel welder, and have 24k on them so far with almost no visible wear. Back in March, we had a massive 2 day snow storm in New England. I drove from Maine to Connecticut in it averaging 60mph in 2WD, while other vehicles were doing less than 30, or off the road. They've been great in the mud holes and trails also, no problems.

I love the wheels, but my only gripe is with the rock guards on them. In winter they like to hold onto snow, or if snow melts from brakes, they hold the water so you have to chip/wash ice out of them before doing any highway, or get the death shakes. Get compliments on the setup all the time though

These do look really good. With wheel designs getting so crazy with beadlocks and machined accents and 20 spokes, I am digging these. Well done.

I typically don't care for most anything from the Fuel lineup. These are simple and refreshing

Got any idea of what sizes and specs will be available?

the look is one thing (and it is awesome), but it's what's under the skin on this one that's the impressive part. look up his build..

Theres a host of new people at MHT helping to drive some of the designs in different directions. No matter how you slice it Fuels bread and butter is heartland and texas ford and chevy dudes. No matter if none of us here have trucks like that.

As for the Shok, for right now 17x9 / 20x9 et-15 toyota / ford / chevy / jeep bolt patterns

    Thanks.

I get it, not trying to bust anyone’s balls. I work for a rather large company (not in the designs portion like yourself) but there are a host of things we build/sell that I have zero interest in owning or purchasing.

I was actually looking at ordering these wheels and a couple of websites said "this wheel will not fit your vehicle"

Any idea why/what the issue is? They look just fine on that third gen and I really want these wheels!

No idea, I know nothing about Fuel wheels, just saw that truck at Offroad Expo. Maybe @blackohio can help you, it sounds like he works for them or something?

That wheel definitely 100% fits your vehicle, not sure why the website would say it doesnt.

    Because it's not a OEM 16x7 25mm or 17x7.5 30mm (or 17x7 4mm T4R)?

Very interesting thread. I can appreciate both sides (OEM vs. aftermarket). For me, I like to "personalize" my vehicles so wheels and tires are always changed. But that's me and how I choose to spend my money. Carry on TW.

Don't apologize for that. I hope it was someplace fun!

So those Shok's will be hubcentric for the Tacoma? Will this setup give me the clearance I need and not have the tires sticking outside of the wheel well? (assuming a 2" lift and 270/70 R17 tires)

not sure they’ll be hub specific to the taco, as the 6-lug pattern is shared across a few vehicles with differing hub bores. hub rings are available to make it work however.

as for the offset yeah it’ll be more aggressive and likely outside the fender a little bit. we will be doing less aggressive figments down the road probably a 0 or 1 offset

Just needed something different than the other million Tacoma’s around here. If anyone really loves the stock off road wheels, I have a set with 180 miles in perfect shape.
