Super easy motor to pull

 

I take the trans crossmember bolts out and lower it about 8" to a foot so I can get a direct shot at the top bolts with an extension or two, then I put it back and do the bottom ones. Sometimes if you have dainty lady boy hands you can reach down the back of the motor and get em with a normal wrench, but I havent had much luck with that on mine.

 

Even the newer Toyota’s are easy.. I can have Camry 4 cylinders out and torn down still warm

 

I don't like doing transverse clutches because the trans usually has to come out the bottom, but yeah modern ones aren't too bad in the cars, sucks on vans and new trucks though, especially the 3UR
