    In High School we had roller skating as a gym class.
    On the way to roller rink we would get high. The gym teacher didn't know because between classes he would sit in his truck and have a beer. His nick name was Quarter Barrel Darrel. So I learned how to skate to Billy Idol music, stoned.

    I bought my .22 Rifle with my paper route money at Western Auto for $66. Dad bought me a brick of 500 bullets for $5. I remember him telling me every time I pulled the trigger it cost a penny. Had that Rifle on lay a way seemed like forever.

    In 2009, I was in the 2nd grade. I started watching the original Transformers cartoons on YouTube. For my 8th birthday, my mom bought me a disc copy set of all Transformers seasons, and an original Devastator toy from the 80's.

    There was a time that $120-$140k would buy you a nice home that was 3-5 year old in the semi rural part of Northern CA. It may have not been a palace, but it wasn't a shed. That was just about 15 years ago. The same house today is now double that and yet the wages haven't moved much and the taxes are higher.

    I scratch my head trying to think of where the money comes from now.
