It was all plug and play. Took me about 30 mins or so for the install once I figured out how I was gonna set it up.

    Hi,
I am new to the forum / sort of. I just bought a 2015 Access Cab / 5 Speed Manual w/4x4 in January and have been soaking up the info on here. I am interested in purchasing one of these setups. Is there a group buy going on ? How do I go about purchasing? Thanks!

Not exactly sure, but I know that 110 db is the max allowed on new vehicles sold here in the states. Note, I said NEW VEHICLES, not used, or already sold by the dealer.

These are about 120db if I recall correctly. Totally legal too, each horn has the DOT stamp on it. Remember these horns were used on existing GM vehicles.

I’ll put your name on the list, and when the time comes for the next group buy I will announce an exact time when I will be sending out direct messages. First come, first serve in order of who replied first due to limited stock.

    a few...
Ok so a couple nights ago I installed my 4 horn set-up on my 3gen AT Tacoma. My simple solution to gain clearance of the two horns on the bracket was to bend each individual bracket forward approximately ~15 degrees forward towards the grille so they wouldn’t touch the small automatic trans cooler. The install was very simple and easy. Thank you @BartMaster1234 for this awesomeness

I'd like to get in on the December group buy.

When (approx.) would those in on the group buy see delivery?

No, no, no, he was asking what the decibel reading was for a stock Tacoma.

Do the connectors on the horns need wrapping to protect from water splashes?

Big difference in sound between stock and ACDF on these videos, but like Tyler said, the true sound can't be justified by digital files. One needs to hear these in person to truly appreciate how awsome they sound!

@BartMaster1234, I tested each horn individually to make sure everything is working. Is it normal to have varying loudness among all horns? I noticed that two notes were significantly softer. Did not do further investigation 'cause the letters were already facing the engine bay.

Yes, each horn does not produce the same decibel level. They each produce a certain frequency to achieve the ACDF notes respectively. If you noticed, 'D' is the lowest, and 'F' is the highest.

You do not need to seal the connectors, but you could if you really wanted to. I would paint the bare metal rear brackets since you mounted them differently, those will surface rust overnight from moisture in the air. Those aren't painted since they are meant to act as a chassis ground.
