Today I need to crawl under mowers. I hauled the leaking gas one up even though it runs.
The new one tossed drive belt, again. Shows rain all week.

The 17 yo automatic mower leaks gas, broken deck bracket and broken deck wheel since it’s dragging ground. It’s a bitch to push.
Newer one keeps throwing drive belt but it’s a manual and is like pushing a skateboard

We bought one about 5 years ago, need to take it in and make sure backlash is where it needs to be, and I clean the top of the deck after each use along with service each year. Hoping to make this one last.

I do that most times, give it a wash. The older one is more durable than the newer one. Older one got a new engine under warranty,a Koehler. Other is a Briggs.

Ya mine has a briggs, the trick to keeping them alive is getting the backlash reset every few years. I know how to do it but I really need to work with someone who has this down as I keep missing something in the settings. I have done it on the golf cart motor more then once but just feel its just a little off.

I’m not familiar with that. Is that why I’m tossing the drive belt?
