The SPI run was good last year as well, we could expand on this more to make it more fun then everyone breaking out into groups like they did.

Nah, if you throwing a drive belt something is either wrong with the pulleys or they are bent which would be the main reason for the belt coming off.

It’s done it twice now and it’s not as old as the other

 

I would inspect your pulleys, if one got bent that could possibly lead to the belt being thrown.

 

Lars recommended the Midland MXT 400 radio with a Laird QWB450 antenna. He has the same set up in his Tundra.

What antenna cable did you get with it? Is there a difference between the CB and GMRS cables?

I bought this one, cause I wanted to hide the unit and just have the hand held exposed. Everything is on the hand held. I had already purchased it before talking to Lars. He said he would help later after I get my other stuff installed on the truck.

I will try and find some info for you on the install

 

The one thing that is a difference between the two is the power, but I do like that it could be hidden as all the controls are right there.
