Well, haven’t been here in a while! Been working on everyone else’s trucks and haven’t been able to work much on mine. Did some work today on the truck. Swapped out my bent factory leaf spring hangers for the BEEFY Hammer Hangers from @ARCHIVE garage.

Install was pretty straight forward. Took a little while by myself but I just wanted to go through the whole thing slowly and take my time and make everything look nice. Took about 4 hours total.

After removing the stock hangers and getting the Hammer Hangers on I felt an immediate difference in ride quality. Everybody has been saying that these have made their trucks ride smoother and I will be another person to attest to the fact that this is true. After torquing everything down I took a test drive around my area and headed straight for the crappiest road I could find and my truck felt substantially smoother. Very happy with these. Thanks Eric @ARCHIVE . Super stoked on these!

Small updates. New kid coming in a few weeks so I got rid of the seat cover molle panel storage and added another Plano rifle case up on the prinsu for extra storage. Put extra recovery items and tools and stuff up there. I like the way it looks with both up there and now more space inside the cab for another car seat lol.

Dude! I blink and it’s next week. I can’t stand it. Nothing you can do to slow it down though so you just gotta embrace it and love every second you can.

    Little maintenance today.

Passenger side LCA uniball bolt has done this for the second time now. The hardware that goes to my LT kit is fine thread and the nuts aren’t lock nuts. The nut loosened on the bolt and got loose to the point that it grinded a ton of the threads off the top end so I couldn’t get it any tighter. Bought some same spec bolts but coarse thread and with lock nuts. Also used threadlocker this time.

Jeez where did the threads go!?!?

    New bolt and back together

Outer tie rod ends also somehow came a little loose and threads got messed up and boots ripped so I replaced those as well.

Fun day at Cleghorn yesterday. Haven’t been out in a while and we had some beautiful rainy weather which made for some slicker conditions but was super awesome!

Brought my daughter for her first real wheeling adventure and my buddy and his daughter. The little girls were champs being in the truck for more than 10 hours. They liked it a lot

Went out with @Mike likes Tacos @Tacoma1192 and @AssBurns who I hadn’t met till this day and is a super cool dude along with his wife and 2 kids

Had a great time with these guys

Hit sliders quite a few times with my trail limo

Got down to the end of the trail and this dude was stuck as a mofo! He wasn’t getting out anytime soon without our help. Thank heavens for this guy Mike @Mike likes Tacos is a hero!

This Tacoma’s Jeep buddy followed him down and took a really interesting line o_O and we thought he was gonna flop twice. Thank goodness he didn’t cuz we didn’t wanna have to help take care of that.

Another highlight of the day was a drop bracket lifted f-150 that came up with a group of jeepers and he was heavy pedaling a spot and jumped his entire truck about a foot in the air and snapped a tie rod. We watched him get winched up and continued on our way. We ended up seeing the f-150 at the bottom of the trail with a straight wheel again and we were wondering how the hell did he get going straight again. With some REDNECK ENGINEERING THATS HOW!! 2 shackles and a pair of vice grips!

Very fun day!! Yes, we were super surprised when we saw him again. The leader of that group had a ridiculous older Jeep on 37’s and you could tell he had some experience with trail fixes. Definitely keeping that one in the book for future reference hahaha

No way!! That’s awesome. Congrats on your being an Uncle. Great name. We named our daughter Cheyenne cuz we made her in Wyoming. We made our son at home but didn’t want to name him Lomita hahaha. So we thought of our favorite place which is Parker AZ and we decided we’d name him that

Hopefully all the busy stuff and life changes have been good ones!!!
