No need for a fuse on the negative wire.

I've been told the cigarette lighter style 12v plugs are not so good for running fridges, that the connection isn't very secure and there can be a lot of voltage drop. For your actual question, the negative doesn't need a fuse AFAIK. The main purpose of fusing the positive at the battery is to stop to much current from melting the wire, so there's no way too much current would flow through the fuse without tripping it, down to the fridge without tripping its fuse, and back to the battery on the negative.

no, you only fuse the + side. if the -/ground wire wire shorts to the chassis, nothing will happen, since the chassis is at the same potential.

exactly fuse is for safety, to prevent fire, and burn down your truck. neg could just go st the frame no need to run wire that far. negitive is conected to the frame in engine bay. metal is a conductor. no need to run a insulted conductor. DC has huge voltage drop if your batterys are in the engine bay you should of ran a good size wire for 35amp plug. running 2 was not necessary and if there under sized it was a total waste.

cigar plugs suck above about 10-15 amps, they just aren't designed for more than that, the plug or the socket will overheat and melt down. I like to use Andersen PowerPole connectors for high current applications. PP45 can handle 45 amps, using 10 gauge wiring, they make even bigger ones for higher gauges or currents. catch-22, they aren't weatherproof, and if exposed to the weather, the contacts will eventually corrode.

There is no point in having a fuse on the ground side of any circuit

In my desperate attempt to be cool (who am I kidding, gingers are never the cool kids) I'll say this. I've grown some nice flowers. Always did small time hydro indoors. Mainly for fun and free smoke when I didnt have to worry about tests. Loaned my gear to a buddy or I'd have a couple in my tent right now. It's fun and therapeutic IMO. I got a little discouraged after my last run though. My dogs were shedding and the hair wound up well engrained in all the buds....

Anyone going 80 west in your daily drivers or on a motorcycle do yourself a favor and stay out of the second to right lane in between Cutting and Carlson. There’s 2 really large bumps that caltrans seemingly paved there overnight. The GX460 couldn’t take it, pulls right pretty bad now.

It's not legal to grow outdoors in the city limits. May want to stick to hydro.
Work with the guys that bust people all day long. Even they feel bad about having to bust them. Its usually the neighbors that report them or they are doing an inspection on the the neighbors house. And they spot the plants. Food for thought, stay safe, and out of trouble.

Good call. But I'm in a unincorporated town. And local deputy's don't care. Just putting there time in to be able to move on..but might be a good idea to make them house plants.
