Chick magnet or course. Couldn’t keep them away. All the girls loved the idea they could help push if we came up to a steep hill.

Sorry man, but I've gotta be a bit skeptical here. The Toyota Landcruiser isn't on this list. Mine has 358,000 on it and I'd drive to Alaska today. From Texas. I'm not sure if this sampling has taken into account various factors, but considering Toyota is known worldwide to be a reliable vehicle, I'll have to further my own research into these new 'facts.' As always I appreciate people posting new information, but I know plenty of guys with 200,000 + miles on the LC and Tacos. Just hit up iH8mud if you need first hand testimonials on the LCs reliability. Maintenance is key and with many of us wheeling our rigs, I cant help but wonder how the numbers are figured. Thanks for the post.

Read article, it tells you how they came up with that percentage.

I did. It provides no technical details or .... details. I even visited iSeeCars to see if they could provide further insight, but nothing yet. I'm actually interested in their results, but again I like details. Reading a list that says it compiled data from some year to some year by a company founded in 2013 that makes money by providing vehicle reviews throws a red flag. To me. So again, I like details.

I also got rid of my 2016 TRD OR. Pulling trailers was my problem. Lack of room in the back seat for my six year son and fourteen year old daughter. I love to travel around with my family. Exploring things. I ended up ditching the Tacoma for a 2016 Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4 Supercrew. And yes, I got the 3.5 ecoboost. I know, I’m ready for you guys to really slam me for this. I’m okay with that. I really do enjoy the truck. The problem is I still have the bug of modding my truck. A big problem that I got from being on this site. I enjoy reading the post on this site and seeing what everyone is still doing with their 3rd Gens. I do miss my Taco. But it was a move I had to do. Now, I went out with an open mind. I test drove all of the full size trucks. I liked them all. But the ford jumped out because of the comfortable inside and all the creature comforts. I found myself trying to upgrade my Tacoma to things the Ford already had. Plus I liked the square look of the truck too. Might be because I grew up with the 80’s trucks. Like the Tacoma I’m modding my new truck. New BFG tires. Leer cap. Raptor Grille and wheels... you guys seeing a pattern here???? Well, I’m done typing, so now you guys can start bashing me on my decision. It’s okay. I’ve got thick skin.. LOL.

The Tacoma’s a midsize. I think I understand getting bigger with a family. No worries there. That is a good looking truck.

@Jessrin this site is awesome. I no longer have a Tacoma but still browse the site. The Ford isn't bad either. You found a truck that works for you and that's all that matters.

I’m curious as to why anyone feels it’s necessary to let TW know they sold their Taco and purchased a different manufacturer? No one is going to know you left TW or care for that matter. OP only had 20 posts. It’s not like he was a moderator or founding member. WHO CARES?!?!

    No mods whatsoever!
Nice looking truck. IMO, keep the chrome mirrors, running boards, wheels and tow hooks, and put color matched door handles on it.

I used to own a Tundra. It was a good truck...I would have considered it this time but they havent been updated since the stone age. I like new technology that all the other trucks have. I know the 2020 Tundra is coming but i did not want to wait.

And people talk here like the 3rd gen tacoma is bullet proof and will never break. They bash GMC or Ford saying the quality is crap yet My 2018 Tacoma that had less then 5,000 miles needed an ecu flash right off the bat just to make the truck even drivable, the AC had a terrible ticking noise, and the wirless charging station worked maybe 3 out of 10 times I tried it...just saying
