Spent a few hours throwing nymphs this afternoon. The rainbows and whitefish were very cooperative. 5971EC1B-961C-4BD7-ACDB-585545557A3E.jpg

Winding down my salmon fishing for the year. Last weekend was much better, but I did ok the last two days. Got into some fresh coho’s today, but couldn’t keep them as I was in the fly zones.

Switched up the last part of today targeting steelhead. Had one on for a few seconds, that was it. Lots of fun. No great pics taken, but I’ll post one or two when I get better service.

    Awesome way to put it.

They were close, but with limited opportunities, I’ll fish for them when I can.
They went back. I got into some fresh coho yesterday, but was fishing a fly zone with no take allowed.

Are you recommending them or saying those are one of the brands to avoid? I have simms wading socks and they work fine for wet wading. Am I missing some flaw with them?

I’m just saying it’s really the only company I invest in now. I haven’t been disappointed with a single thing I’ve ever purchased from them.

Thanks for clarifying that, I read the post quickly the other day and meant to come back for this question. I will just go ahead with Simms and be happy on the trip. I'll be coming back for river advise in the Wyoming/Utah stretch shortly :D

You in next year? Maybe a steelhead trip in April or May?

Man, I would love to. Getting extended time off from work is not very easy. April/May is concert season too.
