    Next weekend is looking like it is a go for install!

    The gel coat is pretty rough in terms of looks, it’s pretty dull and has scratches, so while I will mount them I will still have to get them painted. I am going to try to take pics/ possible video of it if I can!

    @Murphinator
    I'm also interested in your assessment of the fitment. Especially in the areas around the headlight/taillight edges and straightness in the body panel gaps, etc. And/or how much work is involved to make them fit right prior to paint.

    Seeing these mounted on your truck might just cause a spontaneous purchase from me. McNeil take my money.

    I’ve messaged some people who have glass already because I have been very nervous about the install. My friend said he would help me but I have a feeling he might flake out on me, so I am going to try and tackle this alone if that happens.

    One thing I did not think of was if the stock filler neck is going to reach for the gas tank. I watched @MaxxTRD ’s video of when he installed his 3rd gen bedsides and I do not think he mentioned having to extend his fuel neck so hopefully I am in the same boat.

    I will keep you updated as I go.

    Can you link the abs you used?

    I got quoted by a bodyshop $850.50 to install and paint all 4 corners. What concerns me is it sounds like they will be painting them on the truck, so certain parts of the bedside will be missed inbetween the bed and cab, and they also mention clear coat when my paint does not have clear coat.

    The other guy I was going to use told me to install them first and bring them to him for just paint, he also said $850 but I know he does good work and his quote mentions single stage paint which is what I have currently.

    It should, at least all the measurements are lining up really good! And yes I’m a short bed, hopefully they start making long bed too soon!

    This is the closest front end view I have now. Lol
    57267F6F-0C90-458C-AFB8-849B0C8A114E.jpg That’s probably the closest front end pic I have. Defiantly gets asked about the fenders a lot!

    Those fenders are clean and blend with the front end very well. Sorry to derail but might I ask what rock sliders you have?
