I’ve slept in my front seat more than I want to admit.


Does that count

 

I'll have over 30K miles on mine in one year. That averages 120 miles each business day of the year. Slept in the seat more times than fingers and toes.
It looks like a regular Tacoma lol.

 

I feel like I live in mine, 40-50k a year. I’m usually in hotels but I spend a lot of time in the truck - 1000 miles a week on average. The best thing I ever did was add the electrical and my ARB fridge. It’s so nice to grab a cold beverage or even something simple like a sandwich instead of having to eat out.

 

I’m curious

 

I still make enough in retirement so I don't have to "live" in my truck. I prefer to "live" in my house.

 

I sleep in my bed with a air mattress and sleeping bag on the job at night shift. In about 1hour I'm going to inflate and lights out

 

I’m about 5’11”. I’ve wondered if scooting the front passenger seat all the way forward and creating a little platform behind the seat (cooler, bin, etc) would make it somewhat comfortable enough to sleep on. Not enough to stretch out, but better than the front seat. I’ve slept on the front seat. Wasn’t bad but not great, either.

 

I wanna live in mine. Does that count?

 

I sleep in my truck from time to time. The honking of oncoming traffic typically disturbs my slumber and prevents me from getting any real rest.

 

What line of work ??? I “close my eyes” on night shift but still hear the radio go off

 

You mean... you don’t have a fold-out villa on top of something?? To accommodate your slumbers??

 

I’ve got an amazing double sleeping bag rolled up in the cab at all times. I roll it out under the bed rack and I go to sleep in the “back” part of the truck, whatever it’s called.

 

I just wanted to be the first to add a photo of living in a overlanding rig with a RTT and a extended awning, I have them too, but this one is not of me...really!

 

I got the 7p.m.-7am shift on a construction site they are pumping water out of a excavated foundAtion i run the pump till next shift. It started to rain so I'm back on TW for awhile

 

its tough to sleep in the cab can't lay out and get comfy. Best get a air mattress and very warm sleeping bag for the bed then u can really saw wood
