What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Building a sleeping platform for an upcoming partially-solo road trip. Still need to add hinges so I can fold out to a full bed.







Has anyone lined their platform in cordura? I'm worried about carpet getting moldy if I throw wet skis/boots and fishing gear back there

 

Get the same stuff your topper is lined in, from Home Depot. It's indoor/outdoor and holds up plenty fine to moisture. I've had it over a year with wet skis/bikes/fishing/hitchhikers/etc.

It's eezi awn and yes as Chris stated I had to weld and fab mount points on my bed rack to run it securely. Front runner are nice, it's what I would have gotten but after doing some research eezi awn was my choice

Do you know if the light from back is still visable? I checked them out this week and was hesitant if they luminated.

Took it out to support the last race of the season for the Bonneville Offroad Race Series. Recovered a few vehicles, put out a small brush fire from an exploded brake caliper off an 8100 class and watched a lot of good racing.

 

I couldn’t find a side bed bracket design I liked that didn’t have metal rubbing against the plastic bed, so I made my own. Some stainless, matching paint and a rubber isolator. Just waiting on the quick fist mounts to arrive and I’ll have the shovel and axe back in. $13 all in.

Then I mounted some old spots on the under side of the camper lid so I can see what I’m doing in the dark. Wiring to follow tomorrow.

And to top it off, gave the 4Runner some love with some new window stickers..

Says from the sight: Clear indicator lights up the same color as OEM and provides tactile feedback.

So I am hoping that they do.

Removed OEM mudflaps (soon to be for sale btw) and installed RokBlokz, courtesy of @Salty_Dog. Now either wash the rig or go hunting and then wash rig.

Everytime I see these white letters, i really wish that les swabs put mine sticking out

 

Put in my Led signal lights! Super bright.... also when putting back in my passenger side tail light, I noticed the gap between the light and fender was a little larger than the drivers side, any ideas why?
