I laughed after it happened (what else can you do?). I was almost happy when I saw the bumper as I figured the pheasant just bought me a new ARB bumper.

I was so fortunate that it wasn’t a deer or that the bird didn’t disable the truck. I am also lucky it happened during the day and before the major snowstorm. Vis was good so not having lights on that side was no issue.

Good weekend over here. Working tonight then off til next Sunday to wrap up some projects around the yard if the weather cooperates. What’s good up north?

 

Cold. But that's a good thing. Went up north to do the Kanc and stopped by Crawford notch. Did a few hundred miles. Saw some sights. Had the place to ourselves.

Messed up my sleep schedule pretty good though. Ended up pulling one of those "holy crap it's 4pm" deals both Saturday and today.

Truck is driving great in this cold weather though. Loving it.

 

That must be nice (the driving around). had my truck for a week then had to leave for work for a few months. Also it doesn't really get "cold" in FL. I'm looking at going up to NC in Dec to see the in-laws so that will be the coldest mine will see for awhile. And I hear you about the sleep schedule. I work a few hours few nights a week. but today, couldn't get a nap pin before hand so looking at like 24 hr day! oh the joys. haha

This fkn rain is killing me with trying to get anything done.

Went to see Hamilton at the Boston Opera House Saturday afternoon. Two drinks, one for me and one for my wife was $48.

 

$48?? geez, better have been either bottomless or a tall glass!!!

We each got a double of makers otr. Nursed it through the first half of the 3 hr show.

 

Well then, atleast it was the good stuff!! love me some makers ever since my brother introduced me to it. though then again, ill drink almost anything.

 

I drank a bunch of fruity drinks with the lady at a distillery in mayfield WI. I had the BEST mixed drinks I've ever had @$7 each

 

Haha. Hey we were close to your temps last winter. Highs in the single digits haha

 

I moved from Vegas to this place a few years ago and I STILL forget to wear a jacket on my way to work. WTF.
