no luck. oh well. kicking myself in the ass because i had a pelican system switcher pro that worked great but sold it years ago. didnt think id run into this issue.

 

they have one switch that would technically work but id need a seperate toslink switch. i cant play my old games without surround sound. lol
maybe i'll call them tomorrow. depends on if i remember lol

 

i had this thing. and i cant find any working ones on ebay. bah

 

I’ll sell ya my old TOSLINK switch with braided cables if you want. Hasn’t been getting much use nowadays.

 

if that gets you erect youd love to see the back of my receiver. so many inputs... AND ATMOS (if any of you are into that...)

I have a weird thing for Rackmount equipment.

 

So you’re looking to do this with a receiver, or one of those independent switcher consoles?

 

The amps i have sitting in the basement are rack mount. good old Crown pro amps. cant wait to take my speakers to the full 250ws RMS..

 

i need a switch to connect to the receiver. i dont have enough components in the receiver.

 

I installed a mediocre Sony 5.1 System in my room. Can’t get to the crawl space above my room because of how the roof is angled, I’d have to cut a new access port.

I hid the speaker wire behind crown molding, ended up looking pretty decent. I don’t watch TV frequent enough to upgrade it. I do have a nice Pioneer receiver though, plenty of component and HDMI inputs.

i am working on making a room dedicated to the system. but for now all the wire sits exposed along the wall. its not unsightly. i have 8 HDMI in and 3 out. and anything i plug in VGA, Composite or component is output in HDMI

 

so LEWD. soo soo LEWD

 

What kinda receiver anyway. I'm running a newer Denon

and my computer desk setup is a onkyo tx-nr801n

 

Trying to find a tablet that's actually 1920x1080 is stupid hard. Least that's not crazy price. Why is 1368x7xx a thing *rage*
