I installed some door ding protection.

I picked up some Go Rhino D2 side steps off of KSL Classifieds. I hit them with the flap disc on a grinder and then painted them up.

Anyone ever put Duplicolor clear coat over vinyl graphics? Wondering if it will attack the vinyl and make it pucker or crinkle. Thanks.

Lol that’s really f’d up. The pic was taken in March. But I actually woke up to 1st snow this afternoon. Had no clue it was supposed. Weird right? The pic is how it sits now. Just wanted to show a decent photo of her Before she goes in for a little work. Making somewhat of an overlander/daily driver setup.

I like Bosch Icon. I get two 21" blades (instead of 22" driver and 21" passenger).

I like the 21" better on the drivers side. Doesn't lose grip on the bottom end as much as a 22" in cold weather. Not a big deal AT ALL. I just prefer the smaller blade. It does make a difference when you start getting ice/snow buildup, crazy as it might seem.

Slept in my truck last night in Laramie, WY. Got there just in time for them to shut down I-80 in both directions as well as HWY 287 due to snow, so I couldn’t get back home in Northern Colorado. Actually slept well in my sleeping bag in the front drivers seat. Being 6’3” I would have never thought I could do that and not feel like a pretzel in the morning. The attached pic is what she looked like when I finally got home this morning after my 800 mile day trip...

McKee's High Performance Glass Restorer (from Autogeek) is f'n awesome. Deep cleans the windshield to literally squeaky clean. Even by hand only. Mild abrasives in it. I follow it with Aquapel and get about a year of water flying off the glass whenever over 35mph. No need to use wipers at all. Water beads like crazy and the clarity is just so much better than a bare windshield in rain/snow.

If you get chatter afterwards, just twist/bend the wiper arm very slightly by hand. Sometimes the glass is so slick after the McKee's/Aquapel that the actual blade doesn't want to "flip" when changing directions. By bending the arm slightly, the chatter disappears.

Does any of your rational for modding the diff breather have any relation to the diff howl? Or are they two separate issues in your opinion?

Did you have diff noise that was more than the average Tacoma? I can hear in all TRD's (that I've driven) that the diff sound is more than the average car/truck. That in itself is not a big deal-- it just sounds "tight" and is what I'd expect with our gearing and it isn't excessive.

But I can actually make mine "chirp" at 28 and 58mph with throttle pressure, which makes me think it's more than the typical Tacoma. And I'd expect to see more complaints if it were common. Is that how yours is?

I might have to try your Amsoil solution.
