Well, I made it a month with the first gen as my daily driver before I missed the Tacoma too much. I just went all out and ordered a 2019 TRD Pro with a 6 speed manual.

It did when I went to work, then got all cold and rainy

 

Working a bunch lately! Back on 8-5 this week to cover someone's vacation, put in 120 hours the last 2 weeks! Got to go to Oregon again for a work conference too this past week! It was ok, got back too late on Saturday to make it out to EXPO. But next year! Also there will be plenty more camping going on in the future! I think we should have a TTC weekend out there(OXFORD RANCH) sometime!

Taco update: Still have a busted/torn CV boot on the front driver side, gonna order one from CVJ in the next couple weeks. Also need to do some upgrades on the taco that are still in the box at home: Redline Hood Struts, Aftermarket steering wheel controls module, anytime foglights, rear diff breather, and hopefully soon a bird dog mirror riser bracket. Gonna continue to save for armor in the future...TBC

 

You get that radio installed? If so, how is it? I am leaning toward getting one in the future since the entune headunit is getting long in the tooth

 

Yup! haha! I installed it back in May but I didn't get the steering wheel module til a recent ebay sale

I like the radio a lot! It's a vast improvement over the stock 2007 unit lol. But if I could do it over I might have gone with the Alpine unit instead of the pioneer. The alpine's screen is way nicer than the pioneer. I could even get a module that monitors vehicle data and then feedback onto the screen...but that's a little overkill for me.
