I have had 285/75/16 on my '17 since 400 miles and never once rubbed in any position. I have not been on three wheels yet, but certainly am not easy on the truck.

The Pro looks like the front sits higher than the rear when they are on the road.

I have a 2017 Pro. I have had Bfg All terrains in 265/75/16 & currently run 265/75/16 Dura-tracs. They rub every time I back out of my driveway, off-road, & pulling into parking lots. Kinda getting annoying. Only rubs on front. Removed mud flaps and trimmed fender liner. Really don't want to add a spacer and I also don't want to replace my like new factory Fox Shocks. After reading all the posts I thought I'd be fine but I guess my Pro sits lower than all the others.

Probably best solution aside from changing out your coilovers.

Odd cause I have 265/75/16 wild peaks and they don’t rub ever. Even with mud flaps I can’t get em to rub.

I'm gonna see what else I can trim this afternoon. Yesterday my wife and I stopped by the brewery after a mountain bike ride and pulling into the parking lot it hit pretty hard. Loud enough to make my wife ask questions and the people infront of the pub also gave us an interesting look. Rubbin's racin' right? Still just annoying though. Slow speed wheeling/crawling its minor and no worry. Its just when we're gettin' it on a bit at speed its not cool.

Have you added anything to your truck like a wench that will add some extra weight?

Nope. Well, a light bar between the bumper and grille but it weighs nothing. There's also an ARB compressor against the firewall on the passenger side but it rubbed pre-compressor.Its interesting that it only does it on the drivers side. I would blame it on "Tacoma Lean" but it sits level when I measure. When we put our Four Wheel Camper on the back nothing rubs but thats self explanatory.

Revtek makes a coil spacer for the Pro.
You’ll see a ton of people who say don’t do it. Most of these people confuse the facts, and will claim that a coil spacer will cause damage. Not true.
    Top spacers can cause damage.
The coil spacer miiight change the ride a little, but it won’t be much.
I’m probably ordering the kit for mine.

Did you have rub with both sets of tires?
Have you had the alignment checked, if so what are the specs?
These trucks seem to be all over the place regarding tire size and rub.

Why are you trying to sell people on something you don’t even own or know if it’s even right for them? You’re going to limit up travel and make your trucks ride quality go to shit.

Everythings good now. Ended up unbolting the inner fender liner from the front bumper, heating it up with a heat gun, re-molding it with the butt of a hammer, trimming the lower bumper and re-attaching everything. No big deal. Might hit when I get too aggressive but I'll deal with that later. My main concern is knowing how limited my travel is now with the 265's and wanting to continue using the Fox Suspension...What's the best solution for when I add a winch and have to deal with the winch weight sag. I know I could use the Revtech spacers. That might be the only option unless I decide to replace the front fenders with those badass fiberglass models. Revtechs probably under $200 but fenders are $400+ than another $200 or so once they're painted. Baja race fenders will open up the front end for 33's but than...regear might be nice. We'll see. Currently waiting on Ovtune to get the 1.05 dialed in.

Up travel will be limited, just like up travel is limited when one adjusts their coilovers for more ride height. Ride quality is affected but I have owned three trucks with coil spacers and they still rode just fine. As good- no. Good- yes. $300 vs $3000, I’m taking the coil spacer.

sorry dude but your dead wrong, i have the revtek spacer/AAL package on my pro and the quality of the ride was UNCHANGED in front and doesn’t limit me at all.... never had any issues in moab or any other trails so this minor spacer is a GREAT option for those who want it

That’s weird, I run the same tire in the same size and have never rubbed. Not once. Mine is a 2018 but that shouldn’t matter...

Probably all in the factory alignment. Mine was pretty bad. Alignments from the factory can be quite a bit off & still be in the "green" so not every truck that gets shipped out is exactly the same
