Had the rev flash for hesitation from reverse to drive, cruise control etc. Looking to see if there is one for surging when hitting the gas. Revs about 3000 and going through 2, 3, 4 the truck surges and struggles to shift. ECT mode works great, but does not kick down the RPM when up to speed. Any ideas, my local dealer is an idiot. Had to take my truck 3 times before they agreed to do the flash for the hesitation. Supposedly they could not find it, but I had a copy of the memo

your profile says you have a 2005 TUNDRA... this is a Tacoma forum.

assuming you have a gen3 Tacoma, what specific TSB did you get done?

I should probably change that, long time member. Sold the tundra in 2015 for a Tacoma.

TSB 0062-18 is the latest (and best) and I highly recommend. I had 2-3 TSBs done before (including yours) and this current one is the most complete one. There are several threads on this TSB, I believe the over whelming majority would agree. Get it done and enjoy your truck.

If your truck is still under warranty, the dealer should do it without much resistance. My truck was out of warranty and my dealer still did for me for free. It's like 30 mins labor, which is like $80.
