we saw him up at Gallagher two weeks ago with a big group of FJ's that were shooting guns sunday morning at the lake and across the trail around a bunch of people camping and hiking.. pretty rad.

 

He lives fairly close to me and I keep threatening him that im going to strip it if i see it around town

Sounds like a jackass - and I picked-up on the sarcasm of your post.

People like that piss me off - no regard to their location or situational awareness. That's why areas that are open/legal for recreational shooting keep getting closed (and typically off-road trails for the same reasons/carelessness). I frequently come across shit like this in Capitol Forest.

 

If you don't get the shims right it off balances the driveline angles and makes shit vibrate.

 

It's gonna be mounted on 2" tubing to go in a hitch, so it's portable. And I work right across the street from arb. It could be borrowed out of the back of my truck very easily.

 

There are plenty of spots up there that are totally fine/safe to shoot and respectful of everyone else there. We do as well but in a safe manner. But that’s definitely not it. It was my wife’s first time up there and it kinda killed it for her and no one wants to feel in safe. I was more concerned about the guys hiking through. Pretty sure they shit their pants. And rightfully so.

 

That and on these trucks it invites the leaf pack to go into negative arch wayyy to much causing metal fatigue that will wear out the springs pretty quickly
