    Anyone camped at lake Faucherie? I see that there is a group campsite but is there a good spot to throw down a ground tent or open a RTT around there? Is there a ranger out there tying to bust people camping on the group campsite land? I can’t imagine it being too busy this time of year...

    That group camp spot has a locked gate, reserved only.
    There's other spots around there on the same road, your good.

    When I was up there Labor day, they had rides all parked up there for the weekend. You could see campers on the other side of the lake in different spots. Canoe camping.

    Awesome dude thanks for the help! We’ll likely be doing some hiking out to Weil lake so I wanted to make sure the truck was going to be out of the way and not just sitting on the side of the path while I’m gone

    It’s a bummer looks like fires are still restricted up there. Not sure if they are enforcing it tightly that far out? Looks like camp stoves are ok though

    Edit: Except of course in fire pits at legit campsites

    Even in fire-rings, they're on a fire restriction. We used a propane fire-pit along with propane grills.
