chicken noodle soup for sure. it takes 20 mins to cook the raw whole bird. you'll burn more time pulling hot chicken meat off the carcass to put back into the soup. the flavor is crazy rich in chicken.
i used americas test kitchen recipe. they have a streaming video now.

Time may be a little off....many times people/recipes give a cook time, but that doesn’t account for the amount of time for the cooker to come up to pressure. So actual cook time could be 30-35 min. For this one example.

Plus, there’s the backend release....whether it be a “quick” release or a “natural” release.

Total cook time from start to finish could be upwards of 45min.

Last night I made grilled Salmon and while the grill was going decided to do the green beans out there as well. Sauteed with onions and bacon, and a few grape tomatoes for color. Spaghetti Squash was made in the oven (wife's contribution)She also made a dill sauce to put on the fish. I have no idea what she had in there, but it was good.

Dinner tonight was flank steak. Fried potatoes, sauteed onions and mushrooms, and baked beans.

I remember when I was in my late teens my friends and I decided to make up some super hot sauce. Don’t remember what all we used my it put a hole in a plastic bowl and etched a glass bowl. Thought my mom and grams were going to kill us when they asked to try it if it wasn’t too hot and of course we said it wasn’t. :)

Pretty great. Like a franks hot sauce. IIRC.

I have a meat loaf lunch party today. I’ll test it on the group.

Wife has been on a 10-day road trip to handle the damage to the ENC coastal rental property. Hurricanes suck outright.

She was due in this evening.....and son had his vegan girlfriend over for dinner.

    I'm a carnivore by nature.....kill-it-and-grill-it sorta dude.

Perplexed at what to cook. Hmmmn. Comfort food seemed to be the order of the day.

    Vegetable soup.

    Cornbread.

    Apple Crisp for dessert.

Apple Crisp dessert. Granny Smith Apples, oats, AP flour, pecans, honey, lime juice, sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter.

They are killing the soup & cornbread. I can't wait until they get a dose of the Apple Crisp. They will go nuts.

Fried fish & hush puppies will certainly increase your lifespan......or at least make you forget about wanting to live longer if you can't have 'em.

Catfish is one of my favorites.

Wife told me as she was on her way out to work today to "not cook.....just make me a grilled cheese sandwich to go some of that vegetable soup tonight".

I heard her......but having the day off work today led me to at least wanting to cook up something.....so.....the grilled cheese sammiches got kicked up a notch or two.
