I just finished off my High West Rendezvous rye and have a few options on deck, so I decided Macallan Double Cask 12 was next. So far, sooooo goooood.

Digging this thread. My buddy really got into bourbon last year. I've always enjoyed more of the barrel aged stouts. My bud has a huge growing collection and I'm collecting a bottle here and there for now. I pretty much follow his recommendations. Sometimes we split a bottle and do some tasting. Only picture I have at the moment but looking to increase this collection this season. And looks like plenty to learn from folks here.

Sorry not trying to sell the Wellers. Actually a drink of choice for my close friends when we get together for Anaheim Ducks and LA Kings games. But if I stumble across another one anytime soon I might be able to sell. Still yet to try the Antique.

It takes lots of folks a LONG time to get MWND, RHF, and Blanton's. That's a great collection already.

Where exactly are you located again? I can get Weller Special Reserve easily. I could cost + shipping one for you if you want. It'd probably end up being around $35-40?

Hold that thought! I’m in Utah (explains our alcohol procurement problems...) Making the drivevto Vegas in a couple weeks, I’ve had hit and miss success there. Let me see what turns up there first.

Utah, that's right. I've shipped rub, but couldn't put the username with the shipment ;).

No problem. Just let me know. Happy to help out!

Enjoy Vegas. If you want a pretty cool whiskey experience, go visit The Whiskey Attic. It is upstairs in a bar called the Frickin' Frog - just off the strip.

A tad spendy, but actually a pretty decent value considering the education, the experience, and, most importantly, the pours. The collection there is mind-boggling. It's been 4 or 5 years since I went and I've heard it has only gotten better.

How can you ship a bottle of alcohol? I checked and UPS, USPS, FEDEX et al say no. You have to be licensed... It will be interesting to see how this works as I just bought a bottle of E.H. Taylor Jr on line and waiting for it to ship, however it was from some type of on-line liquor store so I'd guess they have the right permits.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure you can do it no problem but I’m not really sure on the whole legality of it. Booze crossing state lines, no id check.

Always been a beer drinker (Heineken) and never the hard stuff but a trip to Vegas swayed me. I went to a Carrot Top show and during the show he opens a bottle of Crown and pours a shot to anyone who wanted to do shot with him. I took one and have learned to like it. I still prefer my beer but there are times when that Crown hits the spot.$.02

I was looking through my Popular Mechanics when I saw this ad. I had to double check my calendar to make sure it wasn't April 1st. Anybody want to give it a shot?

My parents had friends in town from Pennsylvania. They hit some wineries and bought quite a few bottles. I took there delivery it to a local FedEx already pre packaged and shipped off. They received it without issue. Also the employees say they can't, but don't ask don't tell is a policy they never question. Advice from the employees. Just saying.
