What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Installed the OEM bedmat, some OEM rubber floormats, and made some DIY bed tie-downs.

 

Installed some HID in my Tacomabeast projectors, the halogens just weren't cutting it, cutoff is very clean and output is great. I ordered 5500k but these have more of a 6k tint to them...no complaints yet though these are opt7. Made in USA and 2 year warranty, couldn't pass them up for the price.

Installed my Refined Cycle FM2 fire extinguisher mount

 

Since the late Pelfreybilt bumper's hoop doesn't have mounting tabs for lights, I used a cushioned P-clamp to mount the dovetail shoe for my trail camera:

 

Seems like that's fastened a little bit too well. How long does it take to undo 3 different Velcro straps?

 

UPDATE well, either I just need to adjust the headlights or these bulbs are ass lol gonna try and mess with them a little more tomorrow if its not raining if theres no luck ill just send em back no biggie

Any vehicle mount is a compromise between quick access and security. Wouldn't want a 4-lb metal cylinder as a projectile in the interior either. The one I got was intended for Jeep roll bars:

I didn't want a metal latch digging into the passenger's ankles, either.

Man, I understand that. I had about $25k of tools stolen after Katrina from my flooded house.... I so freakin hate thieves.... It is amazing how much you accumulate in tools and cost over time. I had more at work that survived the thieving MF'ers during that stressful time of life...

 

I like your shifter. I like those knobs too. I'd buy some if they went 45 dollars.....

I figured out some of my new system i have on my radio. Pretty cool. My radio had this system downloaded on it when I ordered it. Then just had to buy a Bluetooth ELM 327 Kit. Records all data. Also can measure mpg and distance to empty. Measure all my temps. Like exhaust,engine coolant and stuff. Has a ton of other things to like it can tell you what your 1/4 mile and 0-60 is. Still trying to figure what some of it even is. Will also do an engine scan on codes and etc. Pretty cool.

Can't find the original one I bought. I paid like 290 for mine. But this one is the same but this one has an adjustable view instead of being one piece like mine.
