I had TSB done 4000 miles ago

    Installing 5100's this weekend

What do I set the 5100's to so that it sits level? 1.75 or 2.25?

i have an 08 dc with tsb and 5100s set at 1.75. soemtimes i wish i nhad set it to 0.85
if you have a full tank of fuel it looks like its negative or if you have a load it can be negative.
if you ever use your truck as a truck you might consider 0.85

I was wondering this myself. I'm concerned that if I set them to 1.75" I would be nose high when towing. If you're saying even having a full tank of gas is going cause squat, then I think I'd have to leave them set to .85".

Anyone else with the TSB find that the truck is nose high when loaded, with the 5100's set to 1.75" ? Is it worse on a longbed than a shortbed DC ?

Anyone have pic's of the 5100's set to .85" ?

Now I have a question: how easy is it to change your 5100s? Can't the OP just try one setting and change it if it's not right?
I'm waiting on my 5100s to come in, so I really don't know :)

You will have to do it all over again it took me doing it with another person and one supervising ;) about 3 hours but if I had to do it again I bet I could do it in 2 hours or less.

    here is mine
it has the TSB and 5100s set at .85
I was going to do 1.75 but after remeasuring the back end, the truck settled to only being 1 inch higher than stock.
So i went with the .85 setting to raise the front to match.

Cool. I got my 5100s today and truck is scheduled to get the rear spring tsb done on Wednesday. I don't tow anything so I am going to set it to the 1.75. Want it to be level.

Oh, crap. That sucks! lol. I guess I'll need to figure out what I want to do with my rears and fronts (when they finally are back in stock).

Ok, ToyTec just sent me my UPS tracking number for my fronts!
If I like the way my truck is set right now I can just max out all four shocks right?

Only the front has coils that can benefit from the adjustable shocks. The rear shocks are just shocks.

I didn't know that. Thanks. Even if they don't lift, I'm sure the rear 5100's will still improve the ride. I have the TT AAL as well, which now that I think about it, will give me some extra lift in the back.
However, I was under the impression that their ultimate lift provides a 3" lift all around. My bad I guess.
