Last time I went to the dealer and needed a loaner, it was a first come first serve thing, and I lucked out. Kinda risky to do it again... But either will have to, or figure something else out.

 

Crawled under the truck, and from what I could tell, all of the weight pcs on the drive shaft looked like they were there. At least as far as I could tell. FML

Morning everyone. Happy 2nd Monday.

 

Hey guys! Without going through this mega-long thread... I need to install a lift on my '18 tacoma as well as the ECSG bushing. I hear its a specialty with that part. What shops in CT should I take it to for installs? Any taco specialists or at least lift/off road install shops that know their s#@t?

 

I got mine done by my buddy @tacobell007. He is in MA, by Springfield. Where in CT are you?

 

I'm in Canton/Burlington/New Hartford area but can travel for good work. He did the bushing and lift? Is it a shop?

 

He did both, and we (and I use the term lightly since he did all of the work and I watched and just helped here and there) did it in his driveway. He has access to a shop with a buddy of his, but we did it in his driveway because I wanted to hang out with him and a couple people that came over to watch, help, and shoot the shit.

 

I've done lifts for a few members on here and have installed the bushing in 15-20 trucks by now

 

Thanks guys. Not saying I wouldn't use your guys (if you offered and I'd pay) but are there any actual shops in case I needed proof for warranty and things like that? I heard of a place in Ellington my buddy went to thats supposed to be good.

 

Not sure to be honest. There are a few peeps here that know of places I think, so I'm sure they'll chime in when they check the thread.

 

Valley truck and off-road, His name is Brent. I had him do my suspension cause I had no time to do it myself.
Great guy awesome work but he's usually very busy.

Where is he located? Is he open to do the work? Any idea what he'd charge?

 

Florence, MA. $50 to do the bushing and last I knew $50 an hour for the lift. Probably about $400 total

 

Not bad at all. Can you hook me up with his contact? Seems A LOT cheaper than I'd pay at a shop. Does he stand by his work and all that? Its a 2018 and still on a loan, so can't risk warranty or anything like that.

Yes he does. A lift itself may cause warranty headaches though. Just a fair warning
