So, I got this email today...

I am pretty excited about this opportunity to be a Texas State Park Ambassador for this go around as there are only about 15-20 per group.

Looks like I may need a place to sleep November 15th if possible in DFW so I can wake up and make the rest of the 3 hour or so drive to Copper Breaks State Park the morning of the 16th to be able to check in around noon.

 

I love that place. Have a house there. And one of my 80’s is always there just in case.

 

It's some beautiful country; that's for sure. Did the San Juan Byway loop to Mesa Verde today, now off to the Great Sand Dunes.

 

5-6 hours straight doesn’t seem like a tough drive

 

When you have to be there between a very certain time to check in... and have to be sure and make sure stuff is packed either the night before or the morning. I don't want to risk it.

Saw a little of everything today

 

Bought the wife’s new set today, will be off by next weekendz. If your still interested in some let me know bud. 4 of them at 6/32” tread and one brand new full-size spare never rotated in. Also they should still sell the AT3...my friend who works at discount in Denton told me they still sell them.
