You can. A high percentage of people on here do without issue.

I wanted a Limited for the longest time, even went into a dealership to see if they had any. To my surprise, they said they didn't carry them anymore because all of the add ons that made a Limited what it was could be had in another trim.

My knees say no to manual and I was seriously getting concerned over having a long box as it seems like EVERYBODY prefers short box.

Lol. I really do plan on slowly replacing the chrome parts but got to find a place that sells the replacement parts for cheap.

I know someone said you can put a locker on and yes they are correct, but you may want to research and see how much it’s actually going to cost. That’s the benefit of getting the OR or Pro is because it comes with it and it’s covered by Toyota.

There is minimal info about people who actually do this aftermarket which means limited support from others that have dealt with the ins and outs of this. Just think about it and research it before you get too excited.

Either way your truck is fully capable as it is now. Just buy the things you want and let us know how it turns out.

If you got long stuff (e.g., ATV’s, need someplace to sleep) a long bed is handy. A short box is easier to navigate in town and on the trail. It’s all all about your personal trade offs.

we don't get limited in long box down here so I was ready to say yeah, it's bunk. But you canadiens are weird eh.

DCLBFTW, you made a good choice. Modding and tinkering to make the truck your own truck is half the fun, so start by creating a secret bunker where you can hide all your spending cash and truck part from the BOSS, and rehearse this line, "oh, that? No dear... That's been there the whole time, dealer threw it in as a bonus." HAHA

Welcome to the site and have fun!

Haha haha!! The BOSS has already started to question me.....

“Why are you going to take those nice new tires and rims off roading...your just gonna get the wrecked” lol.

I haven’t even started down the rabbit hole yet. So so so so much non existent money gonna need to be found.

Wonder what a kidney is worth these days??

I guess it depends on what your use too. I’ve only driven 3/4 ton and one ton trucks for the last 15 years so this feel like a friggin race car lol

Congrats on your purchase! You may want to double check that tire size.
