    I think he might have

Going back to you other post. How are those TC Fab pieces supposed to work with that Daystar kit? The Daystar kit is much longer. I don't think the hole would match up and even if they did how woul it hold the plates firmly when they have no threads in that area. You do know they are designed for SUA don't you?

You still retain the metal plate that the daystars are designed to mount onto that comes with the firestone ride-rites. This TC u-bolt plate only recesses the location of the nut/ubolt area so the firestone bottom plate can fit without restriction.

There was an newer F250 ( just reg cab) on one of the trails this past weekend. I was impressed quite honestly. He was behind us ( i was tail gunning and watching him) and crawled a bunch of boulders and ledges. It did catch on fire though... literally

OK I sort of get it now. But what happens to the inside U bolt nuts? Do they just go into that notch of the Daystar cup?

You still have to cut them down - the reason why I'm thinking about going with this setup is because I don't want the added height from putting the daystar cradle and the firestone bracket above the u-bolts. If you look at scott's photos it looks like the bracket is still sitting up in the air and only making contact with the u-bolts themselves.

Realistically I want to minimize the loss of up travel with the addition of the airbag system. By keeping the firestone bracket sitting flush on the leaf pack will retain this.

That'd be sweet... but at that rate I might as well just do the blackout heavy duty leafs... which I'm starting to think I should have just bought in the first place before doing the bags...

The advantage of the bags though is if you do decide to take off the cap/ rtt etc it won't ride like a dump truck

I just compared the pic you posted in Instagram and the one from my old setup. I think the bottom the the cradle and the base of the bumpstop your using currently look to sit at about the same place. Are you looking to have the cradle sit lower basically on the flipkit base?

Yeah. Got really busy today. Was trying to change reliefs, and there was a 4160v "glitch" that knocked the whole plant offline... made for an interesting day.
