Bummer about the Pelfreybilt thing not just for you but for a bunch of folks. Lots of other good choices out there so I'm sure you'll find something you will be happy with. SSO Makes a similar style bumper. I'm leaning that way myself. You didn't get hurt so that's the silver lining in this cloud. Hopefully there's not a lot of bloodshot meat on that deer, at least half should be first rate venison.

Anyone know the differences between the $70 kit and the $120 kit? Specs say $70 isn't for the 3rd gen, but they look identical.

That's the thing I miss most on my head unit WAZE! Travel Interstate 90 to and from work, WAZE has saved my butt on numerous occasions. I still use it on my android but the charger can't keep up with the power draw, might be time for a new cell battery.
Goody another thing to add to the mod list.

To those of you that haven't used WAZE, get it! It's free and once you've used it you'll never want to be without it

I elected to not do the Metro kit that gives you all that functionality, the kit was around $100 plus install and I just dont think I would use it all much. Obviously you can still see the MPG options on the HUD.

Yeah the Entune GPS is GARBAGE...the worst. Exponentially worse coming from Waze. It took me to the wrong address for a sales appointment which could have cost me business...

Anyway, no I had it professionally installed so not sure how plug and play it was. A wire harness usually makes it fairly simple. The dash kit was the trickiest thing, hard to find for the TRD Pro dash. But looks clean although that big glass face of the Entune was slick.

The installation looks great! That Pioneer is something I'll have to look into. I'd rather have it on the head unit than my android.
Someday I'm going have to tally up all the mods I've done on this Tacoma, then again maybe I don't really want to know. Maybe I'll just have my wife bury me in it. If she ever finds out how much I've got into it that may happen sooner than later. :anonymous:

Installed a set of headrest grabs. My mother and father in-law have trouble teaching the grab at the top of the cab on the back seat. Especially now that my truck is lifted a few inches. I think these are going to help them a lot.

Just ordered the OEM Tacoma bed mat. Tired of shit sliding all over and killing my knees on the ridges.
