Day 4 of 7 with no truck. This is awful. I feel so unsafe and vulnerable being low to the ground. I have a normal license plate, which definitely doesn't tell people how much I love Taylor Swift. Friday cannot get here quickly enough.

I feel for you bro, maybe you should get some shoe paint and write '<3<3 TSWIFT<3<3' on your back window to just hold you over!

Day two still trying to get logged into the correct TFS account. Apparently they rewrote my lease for the due date change or some other reason which created a new account number. They did not link said new account to my existing online profile. When I try to add it to my log in or create a new profile it says account already active but no one knows where.

No reason to be repo'd????????????????????Called in last night and made a payment on time to the correct active account as the phone system and live rep has it correct. Only issue is figuring out the online access part so I can set up auto pay and manage my account.

This is not an awful idea. I need a better plate for this one. TSLASUX is still at the top of my list. Or MUSKSUX. Those would both make me happy.

Speaking of enraging incompetence, I don’t have internet because apparently CenturyLink just... doesn’t service my house yet??? And has absolutely no definitive time table for doing so...

I’m happy to report that the billing system works just fine, though!

I spent 4 hours on hold yesterday when the installation was a no call no show, and the final resolution was “we don’t know when we will add the bandwidth to service you.”

So I’m gonna start rattling cages, I have a formal complaint in their system, a formal complaint with the BBB already lodged, and Imma blow this issue up on social media and possibly even call up the FCC to set fire under their asses. I want my damn fiber!

Anybody happen to know anyone local who is a fiber technician? The answers I got from customer service were vague and questionable.

So are you saying they don’t service your house but they do your neighbor? Or is it the block/area that normally when you check online it tells you it’s not serviced in the area? Also how did you sign up to get the service as again normally online it tells you off the bat it does not service that house based on the address you input.

are you not able to get CL internet at all or just Fiber? what about Cox or another provider? If it was a pain from the beginning to deal with CL, I would immediately start looking at alternative providers.

They told me that fiber was the only service they offered at my location , and that there is some vague and mysterious issue that means no one will actually hook it up with no definitive ETA. This is happening throughout the neighborhood apparently (take money, no call no show no delivery of service) so I can also try to sic one of the most evil forces imaginable, the HOA, on them. To my understanding, our new construction side is not yet hooked up but the “older” earlier phase of the neighborhood is.

Only other provider is Orbitel and they only have cable/dsl service. We already signed up with them in the meantime because I can’t just burn through all my cell data out here, but I am not going to let CL off the hook for the service they’re still advertising for the whole neighborhood.
