    Good luck.

Everyone has different experience with 285s. Everyones truck is a lil different and so is alignment.

Plus his wheels specs is different than Your so.....unless you have the same wheels.

I ordered a set of the 16” trd beadlock rims in bronze.

I am now worried that this is a bad idea.....can anyone offer some info I should be aware of? I just want the tallest meatiest tire I can fit stock. The most I’ll do down the road is a tiny leveling kit.

Do you want to trim any of the truck to fit them? If not get 265s.

Define trim? Based on the video it looks like a heat gun would work? Are there other issues I need to worry about?

Most often people will do a cab mount chop and trim/remould the fender liners.

You might rub....hopefully it’s just plastic You can cut off or bend. Pic below I had to trim off some plastic from the fenders, but I also had a CMC on a 2” lift and UCAs set at 2.9 of caster. My wheel spec was 16x8, 0 offset

    Like I said good luck!:welder::sawzall:32E3CB45-0826-46C9-9A58-72C467004F2B.jpgA64340A7-8D32-4FB1-A567-F5C7936AD554.jpg

BTW, I REALLY appreciate all the help folks. These tires and rims are costing me (at least in my world) a crap load of money so I really wanna make sure I do it right once.

This is a tricky one..... some rub a lot and some rub a little. Best thing is a cab mount chop and hammer the pinch weld. Remove mud flaps if you have them and use a heat gun to mold the fender liner to a tighter fit.
Also aftermarket ucas with adjustable caster are recommended.

Nothing wrong with the limiteds. The best wheels IMO. Enjoy your truck.

Pinch weld is probably only necessary if your wheeling your truck hardcore and flexing he suspension.

Ok, I gotta ask a super duper dumbass question.....which measurement of a tire is the height of the tire? I don’t mind going a little narrower if I can get the height.

Which he mentioned he was going to off road it, so it has potential to rub at that point.

Moderate is where you have the chance of rubbing or just hitting something going a tad faster than you should have hit the dip, bump, rock etc....

    I. Am. A. Idiot.

Ok, so if I went 275-75 r16 then I should be golden right?

Can I go any taller the 75? Which dimension causes the most issues?
