Oh, we still have a shitload of them. West of I-35. Latte sipping, lululemon wearing, Prius owning, texting while driving, Snapchat filter using, meat avoiding hotties.

I married one of that last good carnivores who thinks all that other crap is bullshit.

Except the Prius. She LOVES her Prius!

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
To anyone thinking they may have shingles -- CATCH IT EARLY-- you will have less pain and suffering --they have a drug to help ease the pain --Only if you catch it early.
KEY-- if you develop a rash or hot burning sensation under your skin -- and if you have had chicken pox -- that IS ONLY on one side of your body -- that is a "dead giveaway". The ailment is spine based right or left side --and will ONLY affect on your right or left side. If you don't believe me --look it up. I had it -- only on one side --started out as a rash that just came out of nowhere -- My oldest daughter ,who is a mother of 3 -- correctly diag-ed me and said "Dad -- get your ass to a DR. NOW -- I did and she was right. It feels like you have a fire burning under your top layer of skin

You don't want to mess around with Shingles. A person with Shingles needs to see a medical doctor. It can cause permanent nerve damage including things like chronic pain, loss of hearing to one ear, etc. Even morphine based medications do little to ease the pain. Many doctors will prescribe Acyclovir for Shingles. There's a new and more effective Shingles vaccination on the market named Shingrix.

    Just a heads up.

Most people have shingles for two weeks to a month.

Some have it for months, even years.

    I had it for 15 month's.......

We're waiting on the doc to call back, but this bears all the hallmarks of shingles. The missus ain't happy...and I think I'm next. Going to get into the clinic next week to see about the vaccine.
And they wonder how all that plastic gets into the ocean. This is the crap that has to stop.

Interesting thought. I could steal a backhoe (no keys, no locks), but we were decidedly lacking in chemicals.

Unless DFAC food counts. I suppose that coffee that brews all day would work...

Bad shit, really bad shit. Pain on another level. I had it. I just got blisters on my right rib cage one morning and looked it up on the old Web MD. Stupidly, I scratched the insane itch and boom, they went all around my rib cage to my back. I went to the Doc ricky tick and told him I think I have shingles. One look and he said yep, you have shingles. Then he says the last thing you want to do is scratch it. :homer: Anyway, he gave me some big gun antibiotic which stopped the spread, but my ribs felt like I was hit with a sledge hammer. After it went away, the pain where it started came and went for about 5 years! I had little scars where it started for quite a while. Dangerous stuff. Don't pop the blisters, get to a doc right away.
