    Got a 16 limited long bed myself. Had 4.88 nitro gears installed and did arb front and rear lockers same time. Sure i could have gotten an offroad but i wanted the brown leather interior along with the bells and whistles. Call me dumb/crazy but i love my truck and thats all that matters to me :thumbsup:

    @Razamataz1976

    Your Tacoma is yours, yours alone, and yours to love. Enjoy the hell out of her. Mod as you wish and to your desire, keep her maintained, and she'll never let you down...

    ...because I'll say it again: no matter what, she's yours. :)

    The name you give your Tacoma has to be organic. Has to come from within and based upon your Tacoma's characteristics and idiosyncrasies. You'll know when you've come up with the right name for her!

    those tires are too big for stock... 265/75/16 is the biggest you can go without lift.

    Oh lord my head gonna splode....

    Are you sure? I’ve literally just been reading loads of folks who say it’s what they have on stock and have no issues.

    Perhaps it's different on 3rd Gen Tacomas, but 285s will not fit on 2nd Gens without a 2.5-3.0" lift, and in many cases, a cab mount chop (CMC).

    The nice thing about TacomaWorld is that it gives you the perfect opportunity to be brilliant and learn from the mistakes of others.

    I could be wrong. I am a lot, but 265/65/16 is the biggest you can go on stock wheels, the 285s are too big. I saw you got aftermarket wheels so you may be good, but look in to it

    I picked up the SR with a godless long box, and the evil 5 speed manual trans.
    Enjoy your truck.
