Thanks! Yea it has been super cool so far. I have skated at least 30 mins a day everyday since I completed the project and am seeing some progression for sure. Getting kickflip rocks and pop shuv rocks dialed. The elusive blunt to fakie and feeble fakies are giving me problems....

I'm all for a show us your ramps thread haha! I actually have increased the coping diameter and added a railing on the far side ramp too... also started a hubba project too... im like a 15 year old kid... hey she said i could have the basement and the garage if she can have free reign over all the upstairs decorating, design, and renovations haha!!

 

Went to the SoCal Skateshop event yesterday(Sunday)for the re launch of “Dagger Skates” for those of you who remember.

Got to spend time with legendary skateboarder Eddie Reategui(OG DS,Powell Peralta,Alva etc.)who is the new founder of revamping what was.

My buddy legendary skateboarder Jim Gray(Powerflex Wheels,Blockhead Skateboards,ACME etc.)was also in attendance to support.It was a fantastic afternoon with free food and free Dagger t-shirts.

 

I stopped getting notifications with this thread and with the craziness that's been going on in my life this last 4 months there really hasn't been any good opportunities to skate...

Jealous, Ron! I have one of the Gray Blockhead reissues and it's killer.

It's finally cooled off here in AZ so I'm going to try to get healthy again and back out on my board, even if it's little by little.

The private swimmer/skater pool down the road from my house just got officially emptied so Sunday sessions are going to commence there again. Last year some HEAVIES skated it and I missed out on a lot of amazing sessions. Need to get out not just on my board but to socialize again with the local "elder" AZ skaters. It's good therapy, ya know?

Appreciate the share Andy as i know the class act that you are as well as other TW members know you as i do.And i absolutely know the understanding in the fact of it not being the easiest of a yr for you.
The invitation is always open for you when in SoCal to come over and skate the halfpipe and stay.I need to get out to AZ.asap as my yearly trips were diminished this yr due to well,life!

 

And this upcoming Friday evening i’ll run and come across some more that’s been the norm.It’s been fantastic as there’s been some that have been invited over to skate the halfpipe once completed.Will they follow through and show i surely would like so,hehe!

My friend Jason whom i’ve known since moving out to CA.in 1980 surprised me last night with this Polaroid picture of me riding his OG John Lucero board back in 1985.

The picture is from a guys halfpipe(Lance Reid)we all used to skate at the time that was the only actual ramp in our general housing tracks at the time.Lance didn’t even skate but his parents put up the funds to build the ramp i remember.

This board is fully loaded.Powell Peralta rails,nose and tail Bones,PP Rat Bones wheels and Tracker Trucks with the Lapers/Copers.

 

I’ll be getting my Roskopp Target 1 reissue in the mail from my preorder in the next week or so.These weren’t supposed to be delivered until November sometime.

 

Surely is!I wanna go back,hehe!

 

How did I miss this thread?

52 year old skater here, haven't done much this summer though but I just joined a group renting some space with a mini. Just trying to lock in my stalls and grinds for now.

 

Missed out when these were originally re-issued a few months back, but found one on eBay. A re-issue of the 2nd skateboard I ever bought. I basically only rode Natas Kaupas decks after this one.
