Congrats on the upcoming move out west! Moab will be driving distance, let's make it happen :bananadance:

Also you HAVE to hit up Barrett Jackson while you're there. Absolute bucket list item in your soon-to-be backyard.

Honestly I like things about both. Living in WA we were about 15 minutes from the ocean and about 2 hours away in the other direction from the cascade mountains and awesome world class skiing. I miss the lush green of western Washington. On the other hand, the rain sucks and real estate and acreage is super expensive so the wide open spaces, lots of public land access and fabulous sunny weather for 9 months of the year is awesome in Phoenix. I can live with 3 months of swamp ass in exchange for that....lol

Hahahaha swamp ass! I have heard similar about Washington, what has really deterred me from there is my girl has been slightly depressed in the past and we worry that if we went to Washington if it would have a distinctive affect on her with the rain and stuff. From what I understand, I think the "tech" job market has gotten fully immersed there which has impacted the cost of living significantly to a degree. That said though, I think Washington is still worth the money to live there considering all the cool stuff there.

I won't deny it....the 6 months of grey, dreariness does grind on you. It was nice coming to Phoenix and seeing the sun for a change in the winter months....summer in the pacific north west though......I can't think of a more beautiful place to be.

Yeah Seattle is kind of like Silicon Valley north between google, Amazon, Microsoft and a host of others. Phoenix is a burgeoning tech hub too with the 2 large Intel chip production plants and a lot of corporations having their headquarters down here (GoDaddy, Discount Tire etc..)

Thanks man for your experience of the two, will be cool to get up once I get in the area. I get the vibe that Phoenix def has a solid amount of work atleast in the engineering realm with many government contractor jobs. I think your perspective on the gloom kind of solidifies my stance on the seattle area although man I would love to be around the Spokane area if possible. Have you had a chance to wheel at all since you have been in AZ?

I've been out a couple of times but just been working a lot so I haven't even scratched the surface of what's here. Tons of trails of varying difficulty levels though. You can check this thread out....https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/az-regular-4x4-trail-runs.565586/

Did you break another CV or is it the same one from last year when we went to FPK?

Busted another so at this point I’m probably going to get an rcv axle. At the same time, I must be binding or something somewhere as the left hasn’t died at all.

Binding would make sense. Have you checked your limit straps? Maybe it's drooping too much and causing binding. Do you have adjustable limit strap shackles?

I didn’t get a chance to check that side as it broke before I even thought about it. If I had to guess it’s probably dropping too low.
