What trails/ obstacles did you get on in Moab? Or just cruising through enjoying the scenery?

Anyone have any recommendations for where to buy armour around the area?

I’m looking to get an IFS Skid with the port for the oil cap, as well as Trans and TC skids.
Also looking for good bolt on rock sliders
I was looking at Mobtown skids and sliders (I like that their sliders are true bolt on and require no drilling to be used as a lift point), but cost of getting them shipped up here I think will be pretty expensive...

    Cheers!

Chat with the guys at Krave Auto in Calgary. They are amazing guys that consider customer service #1. They have saved me a few times. Because they put in regular orders from dealers they often get much better deals on shipping. Not only that but they off road a lot as well so they have given me a few product suggestions that have saved me a few bucks that they have trail tested and liked.

I have a few friends and myself that travel back and forth to pick things up so we try to group it all together so only one person has to drive to Calgary. Can always do a group haul.

    Talk to Kyle 403-828-1429
    Tell them Genna says Hi.

I have not been on in a while but TEAOA.ca has a or had a membership dealy where you could get discounts on parts from sherwood toyota. Not sure if this is still in full swing but I did have them order all my total chaos stuff and a few items. Saved a butt load on shipping.

Either way it sounds like youve got a couple options. A drive to Calgary would be worth it if youre saving on shipping.
I remember looking into some local fab shops( in BC I thknk) and the cost was just as much as having parts shipped from the US.
    Hope you find an answer.

Yeah they still do the TEAOA membership dealy...
Dunno though. The sptoyota parts dept doesn’t seem to be that great of an option... They told me it would be over $300 for a black grille bezel, when other places have it for under $200.
Depending on cost and so forth I may just end up ordering the stuff from Mobtown. No one seems to carry them up here so I’m sure it’d cost me more to get the dealership to order what I want then just getting it myself.
Ha ha maybe I can organize a group buy if there is more folks that want Mobtown stuff.

Looking to let go of my Taco. I just dont have the time or place to maintain it.
She runs and drives but needs a lot of work.
I would sell it as a "parts truck" and let it go for crazy cheap.
ARB air locker, viair system, FJ twin sticks, ARB front bumper w/ m8000 warn, road armor rear w/ m8000 warn, Total Chaos upper hiem pivot, Total Chaos race series lowers ( stock length), radflo 14" remote resi rear shocks, allpro expo leaf. Tons of other shit too. Stereo, lights......

Tossed it out there before but if anyone is looking for a steel rack, I still have my All Pro Offroad rack for sale. It has hardly been used but I had to get a canopy.

Heading down to Cali in a week so hopefully I will have a few new pictures to post.

So I’m gonna bring this board back from the dead....

How much for the rack that I’m sure you no longer have?

Also, can anyone suggest the best place to get 255/85r16 tires? Or what brand works best for Edmonton?

Also, would love to arrange a meet and greet and swap, anyone interested?

I always get my weird size tires from eBay. I wanted a really rare size for my spare, 275/70/16 I think it is. Tire shops didn't even sell it or want to bring one in.

Meet, greet and swap I am totes down with.

I still have the rack. I had held it for a guy and then it didn't work out. Selling it for 750$ only used for like 5 months then had to get a canopy. Paid like 1200$ for it by the time I had it welded, primed, and rocker guarded.

I would be interested in meeting other tacoma enthusiasts.

Depends on what you are trading.

That’s the only picture of the rack I have right now.

As for the weird tire sizes give the guys at Krave a call in Calgary. They have always been able to get in or have what I want and are really fair priced. Cheaper than anywhere I have found in Edmonton

Loving the new canopy. Slept in it twice on the way down to Cali for a surf trip! Sadly I didn’t get any good photos of the truck.
