Thanks in advance for investing your time to read this. I am anticipating leveling issues on my new 4x4 DCSB Sport and am trying to get out ahead of the problem before it matures: I have ordered an ARE Z-series bed cap (~200lbs) and anticipate eventually getting the Decked bed system with drawers that shows to weigh 200lbs. Then, as usual, I'll fill it up with more camping crap than anyone would ever need, cuz', you know, when you're out there it is better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. On top of that I will be pulling a boat with a couple of hundred pounds of tongue weight.

Without actually knowing the front/back rake measurement at this point what leveling parts should I be considering to get the truck leveled back up when fully loaded? Thanks again.

@Blackout14 can get you hooked up. If you’re not lifting the front at all you’re definitely going to need custom springs.

If your looking to save money, just get an Add-A-Leaf for the back.

    Yeah.
Add-a-leaf to start with, but if you are changing load sizes and towing, you might consider air bags. But with that additional constant weight, beefing up the springs is a good place to start.

I went the AAL route first to save money... realized I needed a full pack replacement... the result? I did not save money.

Do it right the first time. Only one of us needs to learn that lesson the hard way lol.

I don't think I am going to lift it. Just want to level it. Okay, so springs to deal with the added constant weight, and air bags to fine tune the leveling with the variable weight of loads?

That would be me. I am the poster child for measure once, cut twice.

if you get springs made specifically for your application I doubt you’ll need airbags as well.

Why level it and and make it hard on yourself, keep the factory rake of 1 inch and work on increasing the load capacity for the rear. IMO the factory rake keeps the geometry of your ride in better condition. $.02

You are correct. I misstated what I was trying to accomplish. I want to do exactly what you stated.

    But air bags ride better.
