How’s that rack working out for you Hagen? Where did you end up finding the replacement bolt?

It's working out great. I just went to home Depot and found a bolt that fit. Super easy to find

It was actually broken. The speedometer was stuck at 20mph over and instead of smoothly going down the speedometer ticked like a clock when it decelerated

Are any of you guys on SCOR (Southern California Off-road Recovery)?

I ask because someone tipped their vehicle on its side up there yesterday and could have used your guys' help.

Anyone live in Encinitas and have the time to go look at 13 DCSB for sale on my behalf? I live in Napa Valley and the truck seems to have the set up I'm looking for, but I'd just like someone to look at and drive the truck who knows what to look for in terms of overall quality and/or red flags, before I fly or drive down there to seriously consider it.

I'm happy to pay you for your time and input. PM me if you're interested and I'll give you the specific details.

    Thanks guys!

Just met these dudes so I don't know if they are. It would be cool to volunteer for this.

Volunteering just means that you sign up on Facebook and request to join the group. Then monitor it to see if anyone needs rescued. I followed for a while, but I am so far from wheeling areas and limited at 2wd.

Well sometimes it's just people in cars where you don't always need 4x4. I've pulled out quite a few vehicles in sand with my truck and its 2wd.

I am usually at least 3 hours away from where they are stuck. By the time I get out the door and to the freeway, there are usually a few guys on the way that live or work way closer. You ever get stuck on the west side of LA or Beverly Hills, give me a shout.:D

Anyone know of a good place not too far from Mira Mesa to get your shocks recharged with nitrogen? I bet my ICONs are way overdue.

You may want to try Truck Shop? Not sure if they do but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

    Check My Sig.
The truck shop does it and isn’t too expensive. They’d need a rebuild for a recharge to do any good

I just picked up a set of Demello Offroad bolt on sliders for my '17 DCLB. There is one hole that needs to be drilled into the frame for additional support for the long bed sliders. All other bolts use existing frame holes.

Anyone know a shop or person near San Marcos that can help install the sliders? I'd rather look for help since I have not installed sliders before. I checked ORW and 4Wheel Parts but their installation rates are very high.

    Thanks!
