I had this same issue around 2000-5000 miles and Toyota fixed it. Now at 29,900 I'm getting another vibration (either new or the same issue) around 25mph under deceleration or coasting. I've done a ton of reading and it might be the wheel bearing which makes sense because there is tactile feedback in the steering wheel. I guess that's what I get for a lot of hard wheeling off-road.

I'm glad it worked out for you. Mine is still messed up, better but still not right. Hopefully it works out someday?

Dealer is installing new leafs and some cab mount dampeners, I didn't qualify for the driveline vibration TSB but I did for the diff howl TSB, looks like the leaf packs have different part numbers but hopefully it will resolve both issues!

Well, I would like to know how it works out when you get it back! Why did you not qualify for the Driveline TSB?

It looks like the driveline TSB specifically states not for "Off Road" models, also my VIN was not included, the leaf spring part numbers were different between that TSB and the diff howl leaf springs TSB. I assume they may be slightly different, my hope is that the diff-howl one will correct the rumble strip effect since they both involve changing the angle through the leafs.

What is the diff-howl, because mine is still not fixed after the TSB..?

The TSB is T-SB-0013-18, includes new leaf springs and "dynamic dampeners" on some of the rear cab mounts. The driveline fix is T-SB-0171-16

Got the new leafs and dampeners installed, haven't heard a howl yet and it it's there, it's very faint.

Hello, I recently got a icon stage 1 suspension kit for my 2016 TRD Sport. I had the mechanic bring it up to 2.5in. I noticed a "pulsing" vibration from 10-40mph now. Is this the same kind of problem the people in this thread are having?

looks like you didn't get an answer? You likely have the needle bearing failure that is common with your lift. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/front-diff-vibes-ecgs-bushing-fix.464941/#post-13883949

    2018 Sr5 Tacoma double cab
Good morning. I have a 2018 double cab sr5 2wd v6 auto with 3600 miles and it is showing the rumble strip condition from 30 to 10mph when decelerating. Are any 2018s covered in this tsb?

I've got rumble strip feeling at lower speeds but I'm pretty sure it's my tires.

It's not that easy... I've had the truck through 3 tire rotations, new brakes and 2 TSB's... I wish I was just that stupid!
