    I found this on Revteks site.
    I know many people will hate on it, and many people will claim that it will cause damage, but the truth is- it won’t.
    So many people confuse the coil spacer and top spacer functionality.

    Please note: this kit will affect the ride quality of your truck- makes it stiffer, but it’s not horrible.

    Top spacer- bad.
    Coil spacer- not bad.

    The same people who hate on this will say that a 1.5” block will cause axle wrap. Yeah that’s crap. I had a 4.5” block on my last truck, put over 80k miles on it, and towed a 5500lb wakeboard boat for a lot of those miles, and never had an issue. Keep the u-bolts torqued and it’s fine.

    I’m really considering putting this on my 2018 Pro. I added some pics from someone else who did it back in March.

    Keep in mind, the factory Fox suspension is already 1” taller, so this will be 2.5” taller than a stock non-Pro. I’ve measured my Pro against an Offroad model, and it was about 3/4” taller in the front, exactly the same in the back.

    Revtek has been in the market for a long time, and they do extensive testing on their products. I had a 3” coil spacer on my 2004 Tacoma, along with a 2” rear block, and I put 100k miles on it, even off-roaded it, and even accidentally jumped all four tires off the ground at some railroad tracks one night, and never had a single problem. I also put over 60k miles on a set of BFG A/T’s, so people who claim alignment issues- nope. My shop had no problem lining her up.

    Again, top spacer - bad. Coil spacer - not bad.

    The damage shown in this picture was most likely caused by a top spacer. What happens in this situation is, the top spacer moves the entire shock down, below the point where the bump stop usually stops the lower control arm from going up any further during a hard impact. A coil spacer will not cause this.

    I'd go with the 427AP, got AAL for the rear instead of blocks, much much better.

    Glad you had a good experience. There are plenty of others who have not so..

    The Pro isn't really 1" taller either, it just sags less in the front.

    I don’t like the ride of AAL, and I don’t think it’s any better.
    For extreme off-roading, sure. For anything most people are going to put their truck through- not necessary.

    Have you tried a progressive? Works the same as a spacer until you put a heavy load on it.

    Sags less, taller, same thing. It sits 1” taller. I’ve measured it against an OR model.

    And others have had bad experiences with ride quality maybe, but the common misconception is that a coil spacer can cause damage like I pictured, and it simply cannot.

    It’s not worth it to me, because I have no issues with running blocks. I’ve had them on 3 trucks, totaling over 300k miles. No issues. Just gotta retorque the u-bolts every time I change the oil. All good.

    Yep, the common reaction to a spacer lift is to run. This is a combination of misinformation from people who confuse coil spacer with top spacer, and the suspension companies telling us to buy their $2K-4K kit instead.

    Think about this- replacing the entire front coilover system with new coilovers can still only allow a certain amount of downtravel (because of drive angles) and a certain amount of up travel (because the LCAs hit the bump stops where it needs to stop). If you replace the coilovers with an adjustable setup, you are essentially doing the same thing- cranking up the preload on the spring, raising the ride height. The overall metrics of the shocks remains in the same place and damage cannot occur (with coil spacers).

    90% of people who go spend bookoo bucks on suspension systems would be perfectly happy with a coil spacer.

    Uhhhh a $2k 2.5 shock w/ resis will have a million times better performance than a spacer of any kind. It's not always about shock travel but shock fade and blowing shocks.

    But not everyone does. You are saying people dont need a $2k suspension while running a $2k suspension.

    The stock OR suspension is not 2k.

    The rare people that do replace their suspension on the Pro's often sell the Pro Suspenion to offset costs.

    Are the Pro suspension components rebuildable? Most $2k suspension can be rebuilt instead of replaced. You may be stuck fronting a new suspension in 50k miles

    He’s made up his mind of spacers and current setup. Spacers are fine just in the street. Taking it offroad is your decision. Coilovers were not designed to have any type of spacer, the reason why they spend the time and money with R&D.

    Sat next to a pro, I was given measurements from a pro and it was not 1” taller compared to my 2017 Limited.
