    OK...shoved a garden hose into the 8" drain line. Pushed about 20' in and hit a little resistance. Then all at once a sucking sound and all the water disappeared. Plug gone. Crisis resolved.

    Almost time to call it a day.

    I was considering getting some additional parts, but then Pelfrey went under just before I pulled the trigger (dodged that bullet, phew), so after that I decided to stop modding my truck for a while. Other than that just whatever you see on IG.. :)

    I once had a clogged toilet and couldn't find toilet safe chemicals for septic systems. I didn't want to use my hose and drag 200' of it through the house.

    You know what worked like a freakin' magic charm?

    Dawn Liquid Dish Detergent! I found the trick on a plumbing site. No shit. Well.........but anywho, I literally suirted about a cup of the stuff into the toilet and before I could go get the bucket of warm water from the kitchen it cleared. It was amazing. I read you can use it for maintenance too to help keep them from getting clogged.

    After this trip I have planned for the west coast in of May next year, I wanna take my girls east and see some of my fam in Kentucky, followed by some road tripping. Never too early to start planning. What are some must do's on that side of town? We're for sure going to do Georgia to see some of Hannah's fam, but want to explore the rest of the time. I know most of you guys are on that end of things.

    edit: Not sure whether to go north or south.
