The truck steered like shit before I flushed the system.

It had the turning radius of a Battleship.

@BartMaster1234 remember that time you posted about having difficulty removing the top/middle bolt on your shock assembly when it was on the truck? lol...people in the thread were like "does anyone have his number and can call him before he kills himself??"

I have some pretty noob threads I started a few years ago when I joined...hell I probably still ask noob questions. At least we have a cool sub forum, unlike the 3rd gens

To be fair I didn't know that bolt held the spring/shock together either until I read about it on here at some point, if I had attempted to remove mine before I knew I could very well have made the same mistake. Luckily it's not an easy bolt to take off without compressing the spring I think. I've still never done it myself, only time I needed my springs replaced I had a shop do it.

I ask myself that question every single day. I honestly cannot remember.

I believe I was on YouTube one night looking up videos of DIY 4Runner how to videos, and I ended up finding a video of a guy with a Suburban that installed a set. I thought it was pretty cool so I went to go buy myself a set the next day.

I posted about it on the 1st Gen thread, and @1997tacomav6 PM’d me for a set later that day. The rest is history.

I think you’re mistaking me for someone else, I never worked on the front coilovers until the other day.

The 3rd gen forum never ceases to baffle me.

I thought it was when you were beginning your 4x4 conversion. Maybe it was someone else, was definitely in the 'what did you do today thread' but I don't want to dig for it lol.

the 3rd gen forum is a hilarious and sad place most of the time.

Definitely wasn’t me, I always knew you’re not supposed to remove that top nut. I’ve sure had my fair share of stupid moments.

I swear to god if someone brings up the Leafsprings...
