    DAMN! :eek: And I thought $200 for a working wood burning stove was a lot (selling one soon). GLWS!!! Ihave a feeling this winter is gonna be long, cold and snowy!

    I was gonna ask less until I saw what was already on Craigslist to be honest. These things new aren’t cheap haha lot of parts in them. Wood stoves are a lot simpler

    Yea, I just want mine gone. You are right though, a pellet stove is a lot more sophisticated. You should do well up there.

    LOL, Cats Ass, that's new one on me. Bee's Knees I've heard. $3k and ya gotta chop wood!? I replaced my stove with a bar. It's liquid heat in the family room now. LOL

    Good call! I don't mind the wood it's good exercise and I love running saws. Once I get old enough I'll probably switch to pellets but the heat! You just can't get any better.

    Yea, I agree, they get warm. That was our main problem though. We'd have people over, and with the booze flowing the logs burning people would start falling asleep!!!! After 4 parties like that we replaced it.
