I ran 14 gauge with tech flex down each side of my windshield molding all the way down to the cowl.

My biggest thing is not being able to see it. I have thought about possibly lifting the seal and then spreading the wires out between the two sides but that I feel like will be too many wires. I have seen some trucks that have like a little black thing on the top of their cab, usually over the passenger or drivers side. It doesn’t look too bad. I’m not sure if it’s an antenna or what but I’m thinking if I ever remove my rack, that is what it would look like. How many wires do you have coming down?

2 pair of 14 gauge. 1 for the Onx6 lightbar and the other for the 4 S2 sports. It's short enough I could have probably gone with 16.

I don't think you would see any cabling if it was tucked under there -- people seem to have no issues with it staying well secured under that flap on the side. I am deciding I want to go down that way or through the back. All depends on where I mount my solar controller.

I am not seeing any actual data that suggests that higher octane is recommended in our engines. Obviously running below 87 [per manual] may result in pre-ignition, but considering everyone here is running a NA engine -- at least until the OVTune TT setup arrives -- I would be shocked to learn if there is any benefit to higher octane.

I have no data to support this other than my real world experience. I can tell you that I have been going back and forth between regular unleaded and premium as sort of an experiment. My truck almost always felt like it had a “miss” to it on regular unleaded gas. So, I started buying premium after running my regular down pretty low. Within a few miles the miss feeling would go away and would stay gone until I filled it up again with regular. I just came off a tank of regular and it was horrible. Now I’m running premium again and my truck is smooth as butter. The mileage is only about 1 or so mpg better, but the smooth idle and lack of the feeling it’s missing is enough for me to feed it premium. I also think @Lt. Dangle has the same experience with his.

Some users don't report getting a stumble, or driving over rumble strip feeling under light load. Others do. Lots of NA engines benefit from higher octane, so that argument is moot IMO.
My truck has 30k miles on it and I know for a fact it runs smoother on 93. If you don't have the light load stumble, you are lucky. My truck also gets about 1.5 MPG better towing on 93. My mileage is always terrible though regardless of octane.

Recommended? Not in the manual. Higher octanes only disadvantage is price.

It wasn’t too bad. I think they came out great for being a rookie at wrapping stuff

Installed “The Taco Garage Dashtop Multi Mount” that came in today. Loving this mount already. Super sturdy and lines things up just below the hood line so it doesn’t block your view.

Got my Black Rhino Arsenal wheels in today 17x9.5 -18offset (4.5bs) with 285/70R17 Wildpeak AT3Ws.

Need to get the CMC done and a lot of trimming in the front outer fender, so I'll put them all on after that's taken care of.

Looks so much bigger...stock weight per wheel+tire is 64lbs and these are 85lbs. Nothing a regear can't fix... ;) Although if I had gone with lighter 16x8 wheels, I would have had to go with LT tires and the weight difference would only be 3 lbs per set.

carID did a crap job on the balancing - the yellow spot was only aligned with the valve on one tire. This one was the worst.

    Long story short...

Higher octane fuel can increase fuel efficiency/power output/protect engine.

It can prevent/fight detonation, which causes timing retardation (significant loss of power) and can be harmful to the engine in the long term. It helps the engine to smoother/more efficient operation.

Furthermore, most higher octane fuels also have higher quality additives that help keep the fuel system / engine clean.

Plus gas has additives to increase the octanage and is not "cleaner". As a matter of fact, the regular gas burns more completely and leaves less residue.
