    Evening all:

This guy had a back operation awhile back and is on strong meds to control the pain. Seems like since he's on the meds he's not as sharp and ahead of things like he once was. It's supposed to rain AGAIN tomorrow, he's running a load of scrap to the junkyard, maybe on Tues. we can stumble around in the woods for awhile. He also got a crossbow, he never wanted one, I think I had something to do with that!!! :D Besides, he just got his senior combination lic., which includes buck, small game, archery, muzzleloader, and furtaker, might as well make full use of it.

Went to Memphis Friday to watch my grand daughter play soccer Sat. A.M.

After the soccer match my son and I went quail hunting with his German Short Haired Pointer named Ollie. Ollie is 2 years old and has become a Cracker Jack bird dog.

We got 12 quail and a Chuckar so I enjoyed watching the dog work and surprised myself by making a few good shots.

The best part was spending time making memories with my son and grand daughter whom I love so much.

I put the upper doors back on the UTV and hooked up the plow yesterday. Also put the plow on the ATV and gassed them both up. I'm betting we get a lot of snow this year. Ugh.

We took Lynn's Mom out for dinner last night to celebrate her 92nd. We had champagne and she even had a second Manhatten. We spent a lot of time talking about her life as a teenager and Lynn's Dad. As he used to say when we got together every Sunday evening, "Nobody has more fun than we do."

image.jpg Getting ready for my first day back at work.Wife and l have been gone about a week and a half.l must say l got to relax this vacation.Really nothing planned but we did go to Huntsville,Al to see the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. Our 13 year old nephew was in from Oregon and was real excited to go! (so was l) We had a great time and not a ton of people there either.
I have always wanted to go because of growing up during the "space age"in South Florida.l don't think l missed one space shot during that time.I think we all wanted to be an astronaut back then.Hard to imagine the Saturn 5 rocket was that big!
And that one photo looks like one big azz turbo!

Just got done changing a badly dry rotted tire on my buddies deer cart, he/we may need it! :fingerscrossed:
Both tires are the same age, he only changed one, I think I would have changed both!

    Aloha all!
Finally found some time to catch up with this thread. All's well here in paradise, weather has been great, no hurricane warnings for a while.
My wife just retired a couple of weeks ago and I am so jealous! Got me thinking about retiring sooner than planned. The medical insurance issues are what's holding me back.
Any of you out there have PV on your house? I spent several minutes on Sunday staring at my electric meter watching it go backwards, was a sunny day, so it was going pretty fast. My electric bill went from about 200/month to an average of 20, and that's with the ac going almost every day.

    You all take care now!

That is exactly what l'm trying to figure out how to do.
Does anyone use Healthcare.gov for their medical insurance coverages? Opinions?

    Great news. Heal up quickly.

Traded in our 04 Pontiac Bonneville for a 2013 Ford F150 super crew cab. The vehicle is my sons. Ordered an Access Laredo cover for it yesterday from a shop in Arizona. The cover was delivered this morning. I will post up a few pics in the next day or two. I was kidding him that the bed in the Tacoma was longer and he said my Tacoma could fit in his back seat.:eek: I think I was had my son. :D
