That’s not a Northstar, is it?

I know it’s light, but I might as well add brakes since I’m already changing the wheel hub.

    If anything I’m overkill.

    Ahh.

Fenders are freakin’ pricey. I wonder if they’ll work with my wheel setup.

Swap to soa but that axel looks bowed a little so you will need to weld on to spring perches on the axel

i agree, $1,000 on tires is hard to swallow. but i went with KO2's from experience with the brand. and i've seen the mickey's in action on a friends dodge ram 1500 so thats why i chose them. i dont go "oh look shiny tire. lets get them for $1,000 and 2 weeks later get a new set" i actually take people's advice on tires and other stuff :)

i wondered how those Toyo open country M/T's are heard insane miles on them but heard mixed opinions on the performance. wonder if its the compound of rubber they use that makes them to hard so the wear is awesome but traction is lacking.

I liked mine except for the chunking. But I had no traction issues with them at all in dirt, rocks or any of the very limited snow wheeling I did with them. Can't say how they'd do in mud as I stay far away from it.

my sidewalls always peeled on both sets of mine which drove me crazy. But they never once lost air on me or got punctured...my ST Maxx on the other hand, I blew a sidewall on one of them the first week I had them on lol.

Pre Northstar, it was one of worst engines ever made for a Cadillac. I'm sure that engine soured many Cadillac fans for a lifetime, and made many future customers for Lexus and Acura.
