To put it even simpler, look at the muffler and follow the pipe towards the front of the truck. Where it splits is the “y” pipe

We don't have Y pipes because we don't have to ask ourselves Y we bought a V6 when clearly the 4 cylinder is a superior toyota engine

Since I'm on Amazon trying to order 02 Sensors, anyone have a good recommendation forma decent OBDII reader.

I have a cheap one that reads and erases, but I guess that there are others that can do more, like read voltages and other stuff?

you don't really need a fancy OBDII scanner. If your truck needs an OBDII scanner for something more severe you are taking it to a shop anyway. but I would research and get a really nice computer software and cable if you really want to do that stuff

Sorry for the late reply just catching up. The they are just upstream of the rear cats, right about where the collector of the manifold meets the factory y pipe. This is looking up from drivers side at the collector flange of the manifold.

    About yay far back.

The A/F sensors are in the manifold themselves, or in my case the headers :)

Here are the factory manifolds if your cats are the cause of the codes, I'm sure these are good they only have 10k miles on them and have been sitting in the shop for 8 years lmao

    I just found them!
    B5EE5E13-AA66-4A3E-9B80-1693C1AC3EAE.jpg

They’re between the front and rear cats.

Looks like it’s gonna be a bear to remove and replace with my mid skid in place.

So not gonna replace them until after the AOAA trip. The should be fine for the weekend trip.

I ordered the O2 sensors and a Lisle Sensor socket and should get them on Friday.

In the meantime, I’ll go over all the wire connections that I may have dislodged during my spark plug change a couple weeks ago.

Maybe I’ll clean the MAF thingy as well.

    Thanks guys.

I have an actron that will plot the O2 voltages, I bring it up this weekend. Even the ultra gauge will work decent it will display all 4 cat voltages, should be fluctuating somewhere between 0.1-0.9 volts in closed loop

Back in April I jumped on a kick starter program for Somewear, a global hot spot device. It was suppose to have it in hand in July, than pushed to August, than September, thannn October.. Funny enough with all the delays it shows up the day before I leave on a camping trip to Virginia. Setup was painless, and one activated I was able to text my wife while my phone was on airplane mode through the Somewear app. She recieved the message direct to her phone without the app. It did say “to reply to this message, download the app”. It’s going to be a great peace of mind being able to travel in and out of cell service knowing I can directly be in touch for emergencies or to just let someone know I’m ok. Without messaging there is a mode as well than timely drops pins of my location as to track travel or to allow someone to know my wareablouts. Also an SOS button is located on the device if I was ever in real danger like physically harmed stranded without food/water and no way to self rescue. As a benefit to the device being a hotspot and using my phone still for communication, I have my entire phone book in my phone for contact list.. Also, if I was ever to somehow lose or break my phone out in the middle of nowhere I can still use my iPad to communicate as well..

O2 sensors can be a bitch to remove. Like the exhaust heat welds them in. Best of luck.

Yup. Which is why I need to pull off my mid skid to get full access and full leverage.

There’s not even close to enough room to use my bad ass impact wrench. So Kroil and breaker bar is gonna be the tool of choice.

After I fix my current multitude of truck issues, I’m gonna say I earned the YouToob patch and order it.
