After exiting the parking lot of victory and then backing the car over the severe tire damage spikes because they went the wrong way..the Red Sox manage to limp ahead 3 games to 1 and win despite Craig Kimbrel. Benintendi tries to catch that ball 10 out of 10 times. The Mookie HR take away/fan interference was a tough one because if you watch where the fan hits his glove his arm is up and not back and he still falls 2 feet to the wall after that...So i believe that he could have caught that ball, and that a fan did interfere with him, but if the fan just stayed on his side of the wall it would have been a no doubt HR...

Coooold is coming tonight. I dug up one of my pepper plants to move indoors for the winter. I've done this 3 years in a row now and it works pretty good. Trim it back and put it in a bay window with sun. You get peppers all winter. They are actually a bush that doesn't die in tropical areas.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Last nights Red Sox game was one of the best I have ever watched! So many ups and downs, offense and defense. At the end I thought Kimbrel was going to blow it. Benny's catch was tits!

Morning. Gotta make an appointment for Saturday to get a screw in my tire taken care of. 2nd time in 4 months in the same location (different tire though because they had been rotated).

When do you guys stop mowing for the year? I think I am going to mow today or tomorrow and that might be it. TBH if we didn't have to have our lawn looking good for guests I might not be out mowing this week. Seems to have slowed right down and it's not getting any warmer here.

Gotta set deer fence around the hemlocks and put up the plow posts along the driveway. Even though it isn't super hard, I really HATE putting up deer fence. Think it's because of having to do a ton of it when I was a kid and never liking it. :goingcrazy:

Deck getting finished on the house by lunch I would think (floor above basement). Wall panels are here and will go up next week, roof truss' should be here next week too. Electric and water lines will be trenched to the house today and the backfill should be completed. Not sure about the finish grading and finishing the outline to our driveway, but that isn't really a rush since nothing can grow or really be done there until spring at this point. Got (15) 6' white spruce put in along the road Tuesday though (will take a few years for any real privacy) so things are all coming together here.

I'll mow again this weekend and I really hope it's the last time. I try to mow it sort of short just before the fall leaf clean up, makes it easier to either use a blower for all the leaves or rake them.
