Kayaks are like most things, all a matter of how much you want to spend. You can get a $300 sit in from Walmart or a 3000 pedal drive sit on top from Hobie, Native, Old Town, etc. And not one 'yak can do it all. If you've never kayak fished before or not owned one, I'd suggest 2 things first. Rent one for a day and fish out of it and see if you like it. There are quite a few outfitters in Front Royal where you can rent one. Probably also several others close along the Potomac, Occoquan or local parks. Second, if you like it and think you'll do it enough to justify buying one, pick up a used on off of CL w a few nicks, scratches, dents and dings because that will inevitably happen as a new yak owner. Use that one for a few seasons and then upgrade if you are still enjoying it and have a better feel for your boat.. you'll be able to unload your cheap used one for nearly what you paid for it.

That being said, my yak is still down in SC and I love it and need to get it up here. A wide, stable platform is a must if you are like me and like to stand to cast and be above the water. Catching a fish is an adrenaline rush no matter what. Catching a fish on a yak and being pulled around and feeling your boat move is another level of adrenaline and fun! :bananadance:

So Bungii approved my application and they're processing my driving records check now. (That truck thingy I was talking about earlier where you're Uber for peoples crap.)

I'm mainly curious if there's enough volume to make it worth my while and if the Tacoma is big enough to work.

I'll report back once it starts, but the extra income I make is going to go to lifting my truck and finally buying a better optic for my AR.

Trying to sell it and gotta have it on truck to deliver it. Put it on last weekend but guy flaked.

Plus having the shell off makes it easier to build my new rack for it. Already have side plates and cross bars setup just need the mounting feet.

Sat morning I get a message after we were supposed to meet oh sorry I already went camping? Its whatever I just wanna sell it and get my RTT. Wife wants it out of the garage. I apparently have to much truck stuff lol.

Whose running wheel spacers and what has your experience been like? I've always wanted to avoid them but there are not too many wheels available with appropriate offset to clear the Tundra frame at lock. If I do, I'll probably go with Bora 1 inch.

I have spydertrax hub centric 1.25" wheel spacers an I love them. Havent had a single issue with them and I have put about 6K on them already. 10/10 would recommend them!

Any reason to go 1.25 instead of 1?
